Update on Mount Agung Volcano EXO TRAVEL UPDATE ON BALI'S AGUNG VOLCANO Dear valued partners,  We'd like to keep you updated as East Bali's Mount Agung Volcano is continuing to erupt.  Bali Denpasar airport (DPS) has just re-opened, Wednesday 29 November, and airline check in has started. However, staying open remains subject to ashfall as the situation progresses We currently recommend an overland transfer westwards to Surabaya in Java, which is an 11-14 hour journey as the road is quite busy  From Surabaya airport (SUB) passengers can fly to the hubs of Jakarta, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. EXO Travel will be organising a shared vehicle on a daily basis, with an EXO guide from Thursday 30 November onwards. It will be departing at 07:30am at cost of 90 USD/p with pick-up from the guests hotel Airlines are OK to re-route flights from KUL/SIN/JKT airports instead of DPS Airlines request passengers to contact them to secure a seat. Flights should be at least 48 hrs from the departure of the road transfer from Denpasar Getting to SIN/KUL/JKT requires a flight out of Surabaya which needs to be booked by guests/agents to connect to the re-scheduled long-haul flight. In addition, public governmental buses depart daily from Denpasar airport / a bus terminal in Bali at USD 25/p. We are assisting clients with both options.
