A rom-com for all of us who have scrolled through social media and thought, "are these people even real?" In the case of Andrew's (Keiynan Lonsdale) new boyfriend, the answer is "no."
He's completely fabricated on social media, manufactured by Andrew's digitally savvy best friend Jake (Dylan Sprouse). As he reluctantly goes along with Jake's deep fake shenanigans, Andrew starts to enjoy the attention his faux philanthropic beefcake brings – and the jealousy that it inspires in his cheating ex. As Jake's girlfriend Kelly (Sarah Hyland) warns that the situation is getting out of hand, Andrew meets an attractive chef IRL and has to decide how to break up with his now world-famous, fake boyfriend. |
