Max crunch and sweet nutty heat, delivered.
Despite being of Asian heritage, I have actually not tried chili crisp until as of late. But, once I tried a smidge, there's no going back. It's the wildest condiment that gives the coolest mix of flavors—crunchy, spicy, tingly, and umami-inducing—and can literally go on anything: on top of NY $1 pizza, on insipid chicken breasts, in dreary kale salads, and yes, on eggs. This fab recipe from our very own Alvin, Codii, and Karlee is meant to one-up that boring weekend breakfast, and take it to the next level. What's super clever about this recipe is that they heat up the oil and then infuse it even more with a touch of Sichuan peppercorns and five-spice for a max tongue-numbing epicurean expedition. P.S. You can also make your own homemade version of chili crisp if you're into it as well! | | | 5 Piece Cutting Board Prep Station with Removable Trays and Megatoku Knife | | Cast Aluminum Sautรฉ Pan with Smart Heat Base and Steamer Basket | | | Tasty Carbon Steel Non-Stick Stir Fry Pan/Wok | | Tasty Adulting: All Your Faves, All Grown Up: A Cookbook | | | | Vietnamese Lemongrass BBQ Pork Bowl | | | | Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice Dome | | | BuzzFeed, Inc. 111 E. 18th St. New York, NY 10003 | We hope you love the products we recommend!
