Brown Noise, TikTok's Latest Life Hack, Is Less Gross Than It Sounds

Being so ~online~ has probably given all of us brain worms, but luckily TikTok has discovered the cure to feeling like there's just loose change rattling around up there. A user posted a video (which racked up 1.3 million likes in four days) of them listening to something called "brown noise." Now, #brownnoise has over 25 million views on the app. Similar to white noise, it's a sound that supposedly calms your thoughts and helps you focus. Now, I'm no scientist (shocking, I know) but after scrolling through hundreds of videos of people touting the benefits of brown noise, I'm definitely intrigued.

These Weird Viral AI Images Are Simultaneously EntertainingAnd Disturbing

After blowing up overnight, this Twitter account that posts weird AI (or not?) mashups is still pumping out content. People submit their requests — which range from "horse sipping tea and reading a book with rain clattering on the window" to "triceratops as cheese" — via Reddit, and then the images are shared to Twitter, where they've gone super viral. Their most popular tweet is a series of images featuring the demogorgon (like, from "Stranger Things") playing basketball. Technology may be getting *too* advanced, if you ask me.

People Got Angry, Then Indifferent, Then Roasted Kim Kardashian Over The Marilyn Monroe Dress

The Internet moves fast. Case in point: the emotional roller coaster Twitter went on as it processed Kim K wearing Marilyn Monroe's infamous dress to the Met Gala. After a tweet comparing the dress pre- and post- Kim's BBL squeezing into it went viral, people threw (virtual) hands about her "damaging" it. But a TikTok user quickly debunked this, so the internet moved on to the jokes (my personal favorite part!). First people got apathetic and then they said "why not take it a step further?" Then they started naming dresses Kim better not lay her claws on. What's next?
