The best of the internet, right here, right now
It's Friday...the 13th! Hopefully you're having a better week than this house or these boyfriends, but if not, let the chaotic melting pot that is the internet soothe you. Or — at the very least — entertain you! Here's what you may have missed. Enjoy! ✨

Twitter Is Pitting Britney and Hilary Against Each Other In A Nude Feud The Queen of Pop and our favorite ex-Disney Channel star are receiving *very* different reactions to recent nude photoshoots. Britney is no stranger to posting nudes on her Instagram — especially after her conservatorship ended — but her recent string of posts has commenters reverting back to keeping Brit in a box. Meanwhile, Hilary posed for Women's Health sans clothes and received a slew of approving comments. On Twitter, someone pointed out TMZ's hypocritical coverage of both events and people in the replies quickly began taking sides. Personally, I'm team #LetWomenDoWhatTheyWant! |

The "Clarity" Filter On TikTok Is Humbling Even The Most Attractive Influencers The latest viral filter on the clock app seems perfectly suited to being an influencer's dream: a drawn out reveal paired with sultry music. Instead, it's an accidentally hilarious meme-maker. The most popular one has over 1.1 million likes, and it's not even the weirdest one. Maybe don't try this one at home unless you're prepared to be humbled into infinity and beyond. |

Jack Harlow Had A Really, Really Bad Week On The Internet The rapper's new album dropped this week and — despite the scathing reviews — it's surprisingly *not* the thing people are talking about the most. A video of Harlow being carried at the Kentucky Derby last weekend had people side-eyeing and Dua Lipa's reaction to his song named after her had people saying "I think we've seen this film before..." Then (yes there's more) people had mixed reactions to Harlow's lack of music history knowledge. Some roasted him while others blamed Gen Z syndrome which is how I discovered he was born in 1998 and I had to log off for a while π₯΄. |

That "Multiverse" Movie Sure Looks Different Than I Remember... I know what you're thinking: "which one?" Doctor Strange released last weekend and — as Marvel movies tend to do — had the internet all abuzz. Its premise around the existence of multiple universes colliding had Twitter throwing jokes about *their* favorite multiverses. The throwbacks kept coming from Disney Channel to Gossip Girl to our fave socialites, but didn't stop there. Funnily enough, a similar trend emerged around adorably cute queer show "Heartstopper" so I guess prepare to see "this is my ______" everywhere you go? |
