The Underline, a 10-mile stretch beneath the city's elevated Metrorail, will feature a walking path, a bike trail, native landscaping and public art. It will open in phases beginning in 2020.
The property, set to open in early 2018, will be part of the Standard at Gainesville, a newly constructed 10-story, multiuse complex that includes luxury student housing, shops and restaurants.
