| Dear Valued Partners, Thailand has entered the historical final week of the Royal Cremation of King Rama IX which will take place this Thursday, 26 October. Since the initial announcement of the Grand Palace being closed until 29 October, the following sites in Bangkok and surrounding areas have also been added to the list and will potentially be closed from 25-29 October: Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Jim Thompson House, Bang Pa In Summer Palace, Hellfire Pass Kanchanaburi and the Thonburi Klongs. This list is still subject to change as updates of closed sites are still coming in daily. Our operations team is working directly with clients on the ground to provide alternative excursion options. We will offer a full refund should they decide to cancel their excursion due to the closure of affected sites. All sites will return to normal from 30 October. In the meantime, our thoughts go out to the people of Thailand during this momentous and solemn occasion.
