Dear Friends,
September is just around the corner and there are a number of public holidays that will be observed. The month starts off with Eid al-Adha, one of the holiest Muslim holidays, observed in both Indonesia and Malaysia on the 1st. Vietnam marks its National Day on the 2nd (4th observed) and Vientiane's Boat Racing Festival is on the 5th.
Japan celebrates a day for its "aged" population on the 18th, while Indonesia marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year shortly thereafter on the 21st. In Cambodia, Pchum Ben begins on the 19th, which is a 15-day religious festival paying respect to ancestors… EXO Cambodia is only closed until the 21st, though!
During these events, some of our offices will be closed; we've highlighted all of the relevant dates below so that you can easily add these to your calendar. Our 24hr customer care numbers - for use in emergencies and for in-country travellers only - are also detailed in case it is necessary to get in touch during these times. | |
