The Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, which will be the brand's second in Florida, will have 290 suites with a nautical-themed design stemming from luxury cruise lines.
After an extensive bow-to-stern renovation, the ship will relaunch in spring as the S.S. Beatrice and will become the fifth in the company's highest class of river cruise ships.
It has been synonymous with luxury ever since its 1862 inception. All the elements are there: chateaus and private villas, polo matches and horse races, a yacht harbor and casino, grand hotels lining the beach and illustrious guests.
