Norwegian Cruise Line customers booking early, spending more

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings reported a banner second quarter, with CEO Frank Del Rio saying "the stars aligned" to deliver record revenue and earnings for Q2.

The Transportation Department said that just one in every 19,000 passengers was kicked off an overbooked flight in the first six months of this year. That's the lowest rate since the government started keeping track in 1995.
