The best of the internet, right here, right now
Happy Friday! This week we saw Logan Paul contractually agree to getting beaten up and Disney in the hot seat (again) — but wait, there's more! Here are all the convos, trends, and memes you might have missed across the internet. Enjoy! ✨ |

Invasion Of The Baby Snatchers The last week has been a chaotic time to be on the internet, with society-shifting news letting the internet do what it does best: dark humor. Case in point, this spotted sign at a rally that went viral on both sides. "We'll adopt your baby" quickly became a meme, with people posting fictional couples that give them the same ~vibe~. From lowkey sketchy vampires to our fave motel owners to button-eyed others — even a revived trio got in on it. Sometimes, you just gotta joke through the pain 🥲. |

NGL, This New App Feels Familiar... Move aside, there's a new Gen Z app in town! NGL (short for "not gonna lie") is the latest social media app to take the internet by storm. It allows users to send people using the app (via Instagram story) to share anonymous questions and comments. If it sounds familiar, it's because Tumblr (RIP) and ask.fm have already done it. But NGL promises it's less toxic than its predecessors; it actually uses AI moderation to filter out "harmful" language. It seems like Gen Z is really taking "be real" on the internet to heart! |

RadioShack Is Twitter's "Main Character Of The Week" Usually when you see a brand account tweeting something like this or, um, this, you assume they've been hacked. Not true with RadioShack's latest tweets. The account seems to have gone off the deep end, with one of its most viral (and very NSFW) tweets having already been deleted. You might wonder, "why on Earth is this long-dead company reviving its account to post THIS?" Unfortunately the answer isn't "because it's funny as hell," but something much more cryptic. |

Chrissy, Wake Up And Get This Song Out Of My Head! The newest season of "Stranger Things" seems to be all anyone is talking about; even as someone who hasn't watched it, it feels inescapable. Like the fact that this auto-tuned, mash-up song from the show has taken over TikTok (and my brain). The original video has over 14 million views and the creator hasn't stopped there. The song even made it to Spotify and YouTube, so I think this is one trend that isn't sleeping anytime soon. |
