To celebrate our new ship deployments in Texas and Florida, we went live with a 128-foot-long, red, white, and blue Carnival AirShip. The airship made its debut at Carnival’s Sixth Annual Day of Play at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and is embarking on a 30-day journey across seven states. It will visit Houston, Dallas, Miami and Atlanta, with flyovers in Memphis, Austin, San Antonio, Galveston, New Orleans, Mobile, Tampa, Orlando, Canaveral, and Jacksonville. Then on September 20th, the Airship will stop in Miami to welcome the new Carnival Horizon to its homeport! Festivities will include fun events hosted by NBA Hall of Famer and Carnival Chief Fun Officer, Shaquille O’Neal, Miami Heat players and local youth organizations. We’re excited to continue raising awareness for the incredible variety of Carnival’s U.S. embarkation options, with 18 year-round and seasonal ports (the most in cruising) along the East and West Coasts and the Gulf of Mexico. Four ships will be arriving at new homeports next month, providing your clients with fresh and exciting ways to Choose Fun! The new ships and itineraries include: Carnival Horizon (Miami): Carnival’s newest ship will launch year-round six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises! Carnival Horizon introduced new innovations, such as Dr. Seuss WaterWorks, Guy Fieri’s Bar-B-Que Smokehouse | Brewhouse, and the line’s first Teppanyaki venue. Carnival Vista (Galveston): Launched in 2016, Carnival Vista brings Texas-sized fun to Galveston! Carnival Vista kicks off its new year-round sailing seven-day Caribbean schedule from Galveston Sept. 23. Carnival Breeze (Port Canaveral): Bringing a whole new level of fun to the Space Coast, Carnival Breeze will offer a diverse Caribbean schedule from Port Canaveral with seven-day and 14-day itineraries starting Sept. 30. Carnival Magic (Miami): Also new to Miami is Carnival Magic, kicking off a new schedule of week-long Caribbean cruises.
