Sandwich Chain Didn’t Mind Rewards Members Hacking Their Program. Now They’re Out of Business

Taylor Gourmet, which some may know from its outpost at Washington's National airport, has gone out of business. The DCA outpost is the only remaining Taylor Gourmet spot this week.

You could spend $60 and get $250 in value out of their program. And they didn't mind, saying "If people want to hack through and get cookies, that's fine."

American had 31 inches as their standard domestic distance from seat back to seat back in economy. They considered squeezing to 29 inches before settling on a 30 inch standard. But, they tell us, not to worry about seats being closer together because less padding in the seats means you have just as much room.

I Flew to Chicago Just to Have One Meal. Kyoten is a Special Place Not to Miss

Last week I flew to Chicago to have dinner at Kyoten, an omakase sushi restaurant in Logan Square which opened just before Labor Day. This is the new location for Chef Otto Phan whose Kyōten Sushiko has been my favorite restaurant in Austin for the past two years.
