ACTIVITY:
SAIL INTO HISTORY
Through June 24, Bishop Museum's (BishopMuseum.org) "Holo Moana: Generations of Voyaging" exhibit chronicles ancient Polynesian wayfinding and its revival spearheaded by Nainoa Thompson. The wind-based immersive experience uses digital sensors that bring to life the winds used by voyagers and described in Hawaiian cultural stories. Kahala guests receive complimentary admission through the Kahala Initiative for Sustainability, Culture and the Arts (KISCA) program.
