| International Media Update Working with international media is a key platform for Tourism Australia's marketing communications strategy for business events, aiming to increase awareness of Australia in the key markets of the USA, NZ, China and UK/Europe. It's been a busy start to 2018 for the Business Events Australia (BEA) team, with several stories on Australia featured in leading publications such as PCMA Convene in the US and in MIX Meetings Magazine in Hong Kong. In 2017, BEA public relations activity reached a global audience of over 8.5 million people, in addition to the reach delivered by media placements.
