The best of the internet, right here, right now
We made it to Friday! Good for us. If you spent most of the week hunched over your phone like a TikTok-obsessed gremlin or sneaking peeks at Twitter in between meetings, then you're in the right place. I've rounded up some of the funniest, wildest, and viralest trends from this week, so buckle up and enjoy! ✨ |

"Eat The Damn Peach" Cutesy comics about everyday life are not new, especially on Millennial Instagram. But one mom-based account recently went viral for its cheeky insights into married-with-kids life — and not in the good way. The comic implies that moms would save the last peach for their kids, while dads would eat it for themselves. Then Twitter found it, where they roasted it and then (of course) memed it...and memed it, and memed it again. Look, was the comic cheugy? Yes. Are the memes funny? Also yes! But the creator didn't deserve the hate the situation caused, so remember: being chronically online ≠ being a jerk. |

A Million Mega Losers You probably have a better chance of being Twitter's "main character of the day" than of winning the lottery, and yet that didn't stop half the internet from complaining that they didn't win the recent $1.337 billion jackpot. People pouted Sponge Bob-style, asked for privacy in these trying times, and resorted to memeing their sadness. The jokes somewhat soothed our disappointment, but we'll definitely have our eyes open for the ~real~ winner. |

Giordano Just Wants To Say "Hi" Move over Horace, there's a new TikTok filter in town. This time, he's designed to scare the crap out of you. The filter, called "Giordano," was created by user @lucabellei27 using an image of his father and is perfect for pranking people. People have used it to scare their partners, their parents, and even themselves. Although, not *everyone* is terrified of Giordano. Either way, it never seems to stop being funny. |

30 Before 30 Nothing gets Twitter riled up quite like that "hustle and grind" culture, which someone quickly realized when their post went viral on the wrong side of the internet. People turned the sincere tweet into a joke format, urging people to accomplish ~interesting~ things before they turn 30. From backfiring plans to a dig at comedians to a kooky idea to combat inflation, the tweets were plentiful *and* hilarious. |
