Click here Latest news from Tourism New Zealand | 3 November 2021 Kia ora THE The last few months have continued to be challenging and uncertain for the sector, especially for those in extended lockdown areas. As we head into Summer, we are firmly focused on supporting the sector through encouraging safe domestic visitation within alert levels and keeping the brand alive in our international markets as we look towards the Government's Reconnecting New Zealanders with the World 2022 framework. Our gift voucher campaign recently launched and encourages New Zealanders to gift a new experience. This has already delivered over 5,000 referrals to over 350 businesses who have listed their gift vouchers over the last month and goes through until 25 December. Find out more below about how you can get involved. Our Summer campaign also kicks off later this month, find out more below about how you can leverage this to promote your business. There's a lot of new research on our Insights Hub that you can use to help guide your business. The latest domestic travel view report shows that appetite for domestic holidays remains high with 69% of New Zealanders planning to take a holiday in the coming 12-months. The hub also includes new international consumer insights for Australia, Singapore and South Korea and will be useful for you as we prepare to reconnect New Zealand with the world. I encourage you to reach out to the support that's available through Qualmark or see some of the other support that's available on our website. As always - if you have any questions, feedback, or want to get in touch with myself or one of the Tourism New Zealand team, please contact us. Ngā mihi,
