TOURISM AUSTRALIA UPDATE
Over the last few weeks, borders and restrictions have started to ease in many of Australia’s states and territories. To help navigate the various restrictions, the Australian Government has released the COVID-19 Restriction Checker which provides advice on social distancing measures and travel arrangements in each state and territory.

It was also great to receive the news last Friday that Australia and New Zealand will be hosting the 2023 Women’s FIFA World Cup. The tournament will take place between 10 July and 10 August in 2023. This is a huge boost for Australia’s tourism industry and something we can all look forward to.

This week on our webinar we will be joined by Geoff Culbert, Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Airport, who will be sharing insights on how Sydney Airport is facing coronavirus; James Thornton, Chief Executive Officer of Intrepid Group, who will be talking about how Intrepid is adjusting its model, and about their focus on sustainability, and Quentin Long, Managing Director of Australian Traveller, will update us on the latest trends in travel media. The webinar will take place this Friday 3 July at 11am. Register here.
