Lombok Earthquake | EXO Travel Update

EXO TRAVEL INDONESIA ANNOUNCEMENT

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck the island of Lombok in Indonesia this Sunday morning, 29th July 2018, at 0647. 

Its epicentre was located 130km northeast of the city of Mataram on the island of Lombok and the earthquake was also felt in neighboring Bali.

There is no tsunami alert, the situation is under control and all clients currently staying in Lombok are safe. 

The quake has caused a landslide on Mount Rinjani, resulting in the closure of Rinjani's hiking path.

Dozens of buildings have been damaged in eastern and northern Lombok. 14 people have died, with hundreds injured. 

Popular tourist destinations in western Lombok like Senggigi, Sire, and the Gilis Islands have not suffered any damage. Neither have Kuta Lombok or Sekotong in southern Lombok.
