We are always benchmarking our performance to ensure we return the lowest fares - we know that's essential. But this year we went one step further. We commissioned independent research from Dr. Fried & Partner. The study includes insights from Sabre customers and travel experts in 24 countries, and shows that:

  • 55% of travelers want more than just the lowest fare
  • Travelers are willing to pay up to 25% more for an improved travel experience

Travelers do still value low prices, but they're often happy to pay extra to pre-book their seats. They want to be sure they can check-in a bag. And they like convenient flight times and flexible, exchangeable fares.

At Sabre, we've covered all bases. The study results show that Sabre returns the lowest fares 10% more often than Amadeus and 7% more often than Travelport. But did you know that we offer the most ancillaries too?
