| Dear Valued Partners, Yesterday, the Bureau of the Royal Household officially announced the closure of the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha from the 1st to the 29th of October 2017 in preparation for the Royal Cremation of King Rama IX on Thursday, the 26th of October.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand issued this statement along with other useful information. For itineraries that included visits to the Grand Palace or Emerald Buddha, we will now offer (without supplement) one of the following options: Wat Pho, Wat Traimitr & Chinatown, Wat Saket, Wat Benjamophit, Jim Thompson House or Suan Pakkard Palace.
Based on their programs, we can either adjust itineraries ahead of guest's arrivals or have our guides discuss it with them on arrival and let them decide.
