The goal of the fund is to speed the recovery and return of tourism to St. Martin/St. Maarten, Barbuda, St. Barts, the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos and other islands where Hurricane Irma did damage.

Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean are delivering supplies to St. Maarten and St. Thomas. Plus, Royal Caribbean is transporting stranded tourists in St. Maarten to Puerto Rico.
The hurricane destroyed Necker Island, damaged Eden Rock Hotel and caused St. Thomas' Sugar Bay Resort enough damage to close it for the rest of the year.

The registration rate will increase by $49 on Sept. 14. New to the program this year are TW Talks, rapid-fire educational sessions led by industry executives, and destination roundtables on some of the hottest places to travel right now.
