Get away this winter on a Christmas break with bells on
After the doom and gloom of last Christmas, let's make this one fabulous. That means a festive trip to a place of Christmas markets, good cheer and perhaps a coating of snow.

London is sure to put on a Christmas spectacle that would make Dickens proud, complete with ice rinks, fun fairs and stalls heaving with gifts and goodies. The Christmas lights on Regent Street is a sight everyone should see once.

Across the great cities of Europe, ancient squares come alive with festive markets and sparkling lights. Wander among wooden market chalets with a mulled wine or hot chocolate in hand, and find special presents for loved ones or yourself.

Further afield, see New York in all its festive glory, or make your children's dreams come true in Lapland.

Escape this winter and put the merry back in Christmas.
