Dear John: Thoughts And Prayers

Remember when "Red (Taylor's Version)" came out and everyone said "f*ck Jake Gyllenhaal? Well get ready for some deja vu. Taylor recently announced she's releasing an updated version of her album "Speak Now," iconic for its references to two of her famous exes: Taylor Lautner and John Mayer. But Taylor (Lautner) has now gone on record to say, "call an ambulance...but not for me" as he thinks he'll emerge unscathed from the album fallout. However, Taylor L. offered his condolences to John in a TikTok with the hashtag #prayforjohn. As @untitledblue says: he's definitely the "best ex."

What's On The Menu Today?

This is about to get a little vulgar. Lately, the hottest meme on Twitter is all about "serving c*nt." It all begins with a tweet asking "how do you serve c*nt in a [blank] way?" Then, the replies and quote tweets flow in! There's a thread for "Succession"-heads, public transportation lovers, and anyone who still has a crush on the Hot Priest from "Fleabag." There's even one that's full of photos of badass people just looking plain hot. Oh, we're eating good tonight! Although, there are some people who are practically begging the meme to die already. The internet's taste du jour sure does move fast!

New Aesthetic Drop

Move aside, Coastal Grandmothers. Bye bye, Cottagecore Girlies. There's a fresh new aesthetic just in time for summer and it's super timely. It's: the Tomato Girl. Now, I can't seem to find anything online about what exactly a Tomato Girl *is* — the girls that get it just get it! But it seems to sort of be Cottagecore mixed with the feeling of summers in Italy. A vibe! Naturally there are some ~haters~ but mostly the Twitter girlies are here for it.

Lady Who?

A recent TikTok video featuring Lady Gaga promoting her lipstick line has people very, very confused. The bizarre video has people commenting on how different she looks, with comparisons to Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears instead. It even made its way to Twitter with similar sentiments. It also reminded us all that celebs like Lady Gaga lean much more millennial than Gen Z so they tend to be completely clueless when it comes to TikTok. @Stefani, hire me as your social media expert!
