Sisyphus Is A Hustler

You know the story of Sisyphus, right? The guy who was doomed to push the same big rock up the same hill every day? Well, this TikTok video has an...interesting theory that Sisyphus wasn't suffering — he was grinding. The video only has around 20,000 likes, but the convo around it blew up on Twitter, where some made jokes about our obsession with "hustle" culture and some lamented on Sisyphus' struggle hitting too close to home. Just thinking about it turns my brain into mush.

Netflix Is Cancelled

Netflix announced a new password policy this week that basically means you can no longer use your sister's friend's cousin's account anymore — bummer. People on Twitter were *not* happy and happily let Netflix know. From joking about reverting back to pirating to calling out Netflix's old hypocritical tweets they really captured alllll of our thoughts on this password sharing debacle. Netflix, consider yourself cancelled.

You Better Learn Your Rules

The Cut released an etiquette guide this week that offered updated rules on how to handle every situation from casually meeting celebs (relatable) to cancelling plans (only before 2 pm) to "always wink." Naturally, it sparked a lot of ~discourse~ online. Authors had beef with #1, while many disagreed with a hot take on dinner parties. Overall, people had lots of thoughts, most of them unsavory. "Alexa, play 'New Rules' by Dua Lipa."

I'm really obsessed with the latest trend of turning normal moments into album covers and, considering the hashtag has over 20 million views, it turns out I'm not alone. The text may read "proof that not everything can be an album cover," but these videos honestly prove anything but. Even this one, which features feet. Seriously!
