DREAMTIME 2023 TO BE HELD IN ADELAIDE

Tourism Australia recently announced that its signature incentive showcase, Dreamtime, will be held in Adelaide from 7 to 10 November 2023. Designed to increase awareness of and interest in Australia as an outstanding business events destination, the showcase will provide Australian industry with the opportunity to reignite relationships with qualified buyers from Greater China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, North America and United Kingdom. The Dreamtime program includes a destination showcase, dedicated media event, business session and networking opportunities to allow the maximum engagement between Australian industry and international business events buyers and media. AUSTRALIA IS READY TO WELCOME BACK DELEGATES FROM GREATER CHINA
With the return of two-way quarantine free travel, Tourism Australia’s specialist business unit, Business Events Australia, has rolled out its brand campaign in the Greater China market to remind planners and decision makers why there’s nothing like Australia for business events. The campaign highlights that Australia is home to friendly people with fresh perspectives, that have been shaped by our unique landscapes and way of life. Featuring in high impact placements across social and trade media in Greater China, the campaign will be supported by content initiatives, WeChat and public relations activity. The campaign’s call to action is the Business Events Australia China website, which has also undergone a strategic review and redevelopment to improve the user experience and seamlessly connect audiences to the tools they need to plan their next business event in Australia. The newly redeveloped website follows on from the launch of the WeChat Mini Program in 2021 creating an integrated digital presence in China.

NEW BUSINESS EVENTS MOU WITH SINGAPORE AIRLINES
Tourism Australia and Singapore Airlines (SIA) recently signed a new three-year marketing agreement in Singapore aimed at promoting business events travel to Australia. Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Tourism Australia and Singapore Airlines will jointly deliver a range of marketing and promotional trade activities within Asia and the United Kingdom to promote Australia as the ideal destination for business events. The activities will highlight Australia’s strengths as a world class business events destination including its iconic and diverse landscapes, award winning venues, unique experiences and friendly people with fresh perspectives.

Registrations are now open to join the Australia stand at IMEX Frankfurt. Held from 22 to 25 May 2023, IMEX Frankfurt is a key business events exhibition where international planners from the conference, convention and corporate events industries gather to do business.
