| | | | | TOURISM AUSTRALIA UPDATE | Last week, Tourism Australia launched the next iteration of our Holiday Here This Year campaign, with positive feedback from both consumers and industry. It has already generated over one thousand pieces of media coverage. We also held the Tourism Australia Board Meeting in Adelaide last Thursday, and we took this opportunity to hold our first face to face event with industry since the COVID pandemic began. It was really great to be able to see some of our industry partners, and hear from them first hand on how they are dealing with the challenges head on. It has also been great to hear more positive news in Australia coming through, with both NSW and Victoria reporting low instances of community transmission, and further easing of restrictions. It feels like sentiment is improving, and people are feeling more confident about travelling and booking their next holiday!
