Business Events Boost Program launches to aid domestic recovery

Applications for the Business Events Boost Program, a new domestic partnership initiative to support industry-led business events marketing and distribution projects, will open 1 July 2020.

The new program aims to support the Australian business events industry in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis by providing the opportunity to leverage funding and Tourism Australia’s expertise to deliver marketing and distribution projects which help drive demand for domestic business events.

Proposed projects should be innovative and creative and demonstrate the potential to influence domestic decision makers to hold events in Australia. Projects can target corporate meetings, corporate incentives, conferences, exhibitions or association meetings. Activity can include content creation, PR, media buy initiatives, direct marketing and digital campaigns.

For an overview of the new program, download the Business Events Boost Program Fact Sheet; for full details download the Business Events Boost Program 2020/21 Prospectus.

You can also register for the Business Events Boost Program Information Webinar taking place on Tuesday 30 June 2020 at 2.00pm AEST.
