November will be a huge month for the tourism industry with a number of events and projects coming to fruition. We are working on a range of new initiatives alongside other agencies that will be announced over the coming weeks. This work is being done to ensure the visitor economy enriches New Zealand and we look forward to sharing more with you - watch this space!
Events wise, your November calendars should be full with Tourism Industry Aotearoa's annual Tourism Summit Aotearoa, the CINZ Annual Conference and AGM and of course our roadshow where we will be joined by Google. Make sure you register for this not to be missed opportunity.
And we can't forget about the New Zealand leg of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's tour which begins on Sunday. Their visit is sure to attract global attention, ensuring New Zealand is well and truly on the map!
Speaking of maps, the second installment of our #getNZonthemap campaign went live today. The first video went viral in May—reaching over 1.3 billion people and resulting in media coverage that hit over $10 million in value. The new video features a star-studded cast, including Sir Peter Jackson and does not disappoint. Read more about the campaign and view the new video below.
This week Qualmark turned 25 and to celebrate the milestone occasion the quality assurance organisation has announced a new awards event.
Held annually, the Qualmark 100% Pure New Zealand Experience Awards will recognise top quality experiences. You can read more about the awards below.
