Hey Traveler,
Let's talk about something that has completely changed how I create:
Repurposing.
We spend so much time and energy trying to be original, clever, timely, and relevant — all at once — across multiple platforms.
It's exhausting. And honestly? Unnecessary.
Here's the truth:
You don't always need more ideas.
You just need to stretch the good ones you already have.
One of my most viral reels ever? 44.5 million views.
But when I first posted it, it got... 41k.
Not bad — but definitely not viral.
So I reposted it. That's it. Same video. This time with better timing, and the algorithm rocketed it up.
⚡️No new footage. No trend hopping. Just a smart re-share.⚡️
And I'm not the only one doing this. There are entire accounts that post the same exact clips over and over again — and the views vary wildly every time. (You can also do this with Trial Reels as a growth hack.)
So here's your permission slip:
You are allowed to reuse your content.
In fact, you should.
Let's call this the 7 R Repurposing System — it's how I take one idea and turn it into multiple pieces of high-performing, low-stress content.
🌀 Repost – Share it again, especially if it's older than 3 months.
✨ Recreate – Fresh edits, new music, updated captions or even a re-shoot.
💬 Rephrase – Keep the idea, just rewrite it in a different tone or style.
📲 Replatform – Post the same video on IG, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts (but use platform-specific hooks + native captions!).
✂️ Resize – Cut longer clips down into quick < 30-second moments.
🎞️ Reformat – Turn a video into a carousel, a voiceover narrative, or a B-roll with text.
🔁 Repurpose – Break long-form content into bite-sized clips, or reverse it and expand a short post into a blog, podcast, or video.
You don't have to use every R for every idea — but even 2 or 3 can give your content way more life.
Here's why this matters:
- Your audience won't notice (and if they do, they'll just be excited for that great piece of content).
- The algorithm works in mysterious ways. What didn't work last month might blow up now.
- You need breaks. Repurposing gives your brain space to breathe.
- You'll post more consistently — without draining your creativity dry.
This is how creators stay visible without burning out.
This is how you build a long-lasting content bank ecosystem, not just another post you forget about in 48 hours.
Quick challenge for today:
Take one piece of content you've already made and pick just one way to repurpose it this week.
- Repost it?
- Resize it?
- Rephrase it?
Tag me if you do (@heynadine) — I'd love to see it.
Tomorrow we're getting into the juicy stuff: how to actually be productive without going insane. 😅
Talk soon,
Nadine
