Click here e-Flash from Tourism New Zealand | 25 November 2019 Kia ora THE, Kiwi kids are the stars of the new Tiaki Care for New Zealand campaign that encourages all to protect our home for future generations. Tourism is the beating heart of New Zealand. It’s our top export earner, employing one in seven Kiwis and supporting many of our communities. But we must balance that with ensuring it gives back more than it takes. Tiaki – Care for New Zealand encourages visitors and Kiwis to act as guardians of our home. Today we launched a new campaign to raise awareness of this important message. As we head into summer, a time where Kiwis and visitors will be enjoying all that Aotearoa has to offer, we all have a role to play in ensuring our home is protected for future generations. Tiaki is a collaborative partnership between the public and private sector encouraging them to look after our home and travel safely and responsibly. Since launching a year ago Tiaki has performed incredibly well reaching millions of people, gaining a lot of positive domestic and international media coverage and being adopted by hundreds of tourism operators across New Zealand. Thank you for your support. If you haven’t already, we encourage you weave the principles of Tiaki into your business and help promote our latest campaign. You can access the Tiaki assets here. Find out more about the latest campaign here. The assets for the new campaign will be available for you to download and use in our visual library from Monday 2 December.
