With the Trump administration no longer allowing individual people-to-people travel, tour operators say the policy change is an opportunity to promote their value to U.S. citizens who want to visit the island.
In announcing the end of individual travel to Cuba, the president said, "Easing restrictions on travel and trade does not help the people, it only enriches the Cuban regime."

Company president Tom Popper said he considered the policy change a victory, considering that even tighter restrictions could have been put in place or that travel to Cuba could have been outlawed altogether.
U.K.-based Travelopia consists of 53 brands, many of which are well-known U.S.-based tour operators, including Europe Express, Zegrahm Expeditions and Brian Moore International Tours.
