| Dear Partners, Please be informed that the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha will be closed from 25-29 October 2017 due to the Royal Funeral of King Rama IX and the Royal Cremation Ceremony. There is a possibility that other attractions may also be (partially) closed during this time, however the Tourism Authority of Thailand has yet to confirm. During this time, most Thai people will be wearing black or white clothing, a show of mourning and respect. Although this is not a requirement, travellers are suggested to wear respectful clothing.
Should any of your files include a visit to the Grand Palace falling on those dates, your travel consultant will get in touch with you to suggest alternative options.
