During the opening session, Tourism Australia’s Managing Director, Phillipa Harrison, presented to over 4,700 travel professionals, encouraging listeners to look differently at Australia’s luxury proposition from its elevated culinary experiences to its strong sense of place, immersive cultural experiences offered by Indigenous operators, and the surprising accessibility of Australia. Throughout the week, the team engaged in a variety of activities, including a ‘Come and Say G’day’ training workshop, specialised adventure and culinary sessions, a VIP cocktail reception, and over 60 one-on-one appointments.
