Web Version Forward Well, it's certainly been a trying year for all of us... Can I take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of Chelmsford Star Co-op. Without your custom, we wouldn't be able to do half of what we do in the community, and this year our support has meant more to smaller charities and local groups than ever before. Thank you. Following the Prime Minister's announcement last Saturday, we were deeply saddened to be having to close the doors to our Quadrant stores and Co-op Travel branches again. We really hope to be able to welcome you back soon.  Co-op Travel: In the meantime, our travel team are still available on the phone during selected hours, which can be found on their website. They are now taking holiday bookings into 2022. Quadrant: Furniture deliveries are continuing in a reduced capacity, with COVID safety measures in place, however carpet fittings are on hold until the end of January. If you have any queries related to our department stores, you can call 01245 490101 for assistance. Co-op Food: Our food stores continue to work hard to keep the shelves full, and to serve customers efficiently and safely, in incredibly difficult circumstances. We do ask for your co-operation during these unusual times - please continue to wear your face mask and maintain the two metre rule when shopping with us. Please be patient if your visit isn't as quick as you would like. We also urge you not to panic buy - if you shop normally then we have more than enough groceries for everyone. Our food stores will remain open over the festive period, with the exception of Christmas Day; a full list of these opening times can be found here. Co-op Funerals: Our co-op funeral team continues to work under the most difficult of circumstances with the upmost compassion and professionalism. We are still encouraging clients to phone or email with their arrangement wishes where possible. Thanks to the safety measures we introduced previously, our limousines remain in action for any service we arrange. Venues are still limiting the number available to attend funerals or memorial services to 'a maximum of 30'. Our funeral team can be contacted here.
